NSW: Three hurt after police chase ends in crash
SYDNEY, Dec 17 AAP - One police officer and two other people are in hospital after
a police car chase ended in a crash in the Blue Mountains.
A marked police car was pursuing three men in an unregistered Holden Commodore at Katoomba
when the driver of the Commodore lost control and hit several vehicles, including the
police car.
A police officer and a female motorist in a third vehicle were taken to hospital as
a precaution after the crash, which happened about 1pm (AEDT), police said.
A male passenger in the Commodore was also taken to hospital with minor chest injuries.
The Commodore driver was being questioned by police at Katoomba police station while
crash investigators searched the scene.
